Overview

A picture doesn’t always tell the whole story.

Think about it. It’s often what happens right before or after the picture that is the real story. It might be kids going crazy, parents upset and frustrated, the endless attempts at getting everyone to smile, or perhaps even the Christmas ham falling to the floor right after the flash. The one picture only captures a portion of what was truly going on.

When we look at the different people in the first Christmas story, what pictures come to mind? Baby Jesus sleeping peacefully in the manger? A smiling Mary and Joseph celebrating his birth? Shepherds? Wise men? An unusually clean and comfortable barn? Could it be that these pictures are only part of the story? Could there be more to the story is so than one picture can tell?

Join us as we look past the snapshots at the story behind them. A story of a doubting dad to be, a confused teenager, an unsure young man, and a baby that would change the world as we know it!

God doesn’t just use a picture, He uses our whole story. Come Picture This.
