The Old Testament tells the story of a man named Nehemiah. Nehemiah was heartbroken over the destruction and brokenness of a place that meant so much to him…the city of Jerusalem. The physical brokenness of the city walls matched the spiritual brokenness of the people of God. Nehemiah decided to do something…to rebuild what was broken.

Each of us know and see things that are not as they should be. There is brokenness all around us and even inside of us. Nehemiah’s story teaches us that there is nothing so broken that God cannot restore it! God is in the business of rebuilding broken things.
