Outreach
Below are a few opportunities that we have for you to volunteer your time to make an impact in our community. If you are interested in volunteering, reach out to the office. We will connect you with the right people so that you can be a part of letting our community know that Jesus loves them!
Local Outreach Programs
Brisben Center
The Brisben Center is a place for homeless people to come and have food and shelter. We currently feed residents once a month.
Cedar Forest Elementary School
There are two ways that we help out at Cedar Forest. We help with special events when they occur. Those events range from special breakfasts, to Veteran’s Day programs, to Thanksgiving Baskets and Angel Tree holiday help.
The other way we help is by providing take home snacks to about 50 students every weekend. These students have food scarcity, and we do what we can to ease that burden.
Virginia Baptist Disaster Response
Trained team of volunteers who deploy a feeding unit to assist in clean-up and rebuild when called out to a disaster response state and nationwide.

Senior Prom
Each May we have a prom for adults who are 65 and older. We provide food, dancing, and games for a group that sometimes get forgotten. It is a unique way to do something nice for our community.
Benefit Oyster Roast
Every year in March we join together with a few other sponsors to help raise funds for a family who is having a health issue and needs financial support. It is an awesome opportunity to love some people who desperately need it.
International Missions & Volunteer Opportunities
